This is a regular occurrence at SuTRA Midtown Yoga, which is redefining the stuffy, prententious vibe most yoga studios throw off.

Swimming, Star Style

June 26, 2009 | By

The rooftop pool was full of boozin’, cruisin’ for digits and generally (sometimes frighteningly) loud people dancing in some very unconventional fashions.

You see, the Chuseum, as I like to call it, is turning 1. Yes, it is a cranky little toddler and it needs some sweet, sweet sugar to put it in a coma-like euphoric state. It is bound to be a sticky and delicious affair.

Oh, Joyous Tiki Hut

June 8, 2009 | By

The egg-shaped hut that has been in various states of disrepair over the past year on Central and Highland Avenues is well on its way to becoming Hula’s Modern Tiki, an Island-themed retro-modern joint soon to become North Central’s big hangout spot.
