YAZAMO DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY MOVES TO DOWNTOWN PHOENIX
Phoenix is excited to welcome Yazamo, a three-year old digital marketing agency, into downtown Phoenix. The company, made up of a team of young, global entrepreneurs that aim to help businesses increase leads and boost revenue, moved into the Heard Building at 112 N. Central Ave.
“We’re transforming downtown into a place to live, work and play and Yazamo’s move here is one more vote of confidence in our efforts,” Councilman Michael Nowakowski said. “We look forward to growing together with Yazamo and we welcome them to Phoenix and District 7.”
Yazamo is the concept and innovation of Jeremy Ellens and Dornubari Vizor who started their business with seed money won at an entrepreneur contest while students at Arizona State University. Owners Ellens and Vizor received site selection assistance from the city’s Community & Economic Development Department, which helped the company locate a modern, hip 2,500 sq ft office space with a cool vibe adjacent to the light rail downtown.
The tech startup company focuses on running paid traffic campaigns that generate qualified leads and sales, and optimize profits for businesses in a wide range of industries. Yazamo has managed campaigns for the likes of industry leaders like Arianna Huffington, Peter Diamandis and Joe Polish. The company currently has seven employees who earn an average annual salary of $52,000, but expects to hire an additional 16 staff by the end of 2015.
