Despite some recent setbacks, the D-backs are gearing up for a weekend of good competition and some nifty fan promotions.
The D-backs will return to Phoenix to begin the week, and steep challenges await.
So far, so good in the first week of the D-backs season.

Chase Field’s newly designed “Uptown” section will have fans cheering for star outfielder Justin Upton and the rebuilt D-backs team.
Didn’t matter if you were young, old, hip or a little nerdy, the 2009 Singles Night with the DBacks had someone for every lonely single. Fox Sports roamed the crowd the entire night looking for people to show on TV, there was a bingo contest which included items such as “socks and sandals” and “tramp stamp” and plenty of tequila tasting (one per ticket, which, well, could have been better).
The Arizona Diamondbacks faced the Florida Marlins for their final game of the series on Sunday after coming off of two back-to-back victories. In what looked to be another victory for the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Florida Marlins vanished in the eighth inning when the Marlins scored ten runs in the catastrophic inning.
