Hannah Ziesmann

Hannah Ziesmann is an art historian, critic, writer, and freelance curator focusing on contemporary art and theory. She received her MA in 2020 from Arizona State University. Her current research focuses on the psychology of memory and theories of nostalgia in contemporary art practices. She is currently the Wingate Curatorial Assistant at the Arizona State University Art Museum. Additionally she runs her own art blog entitled “Petite Madeleines” (found at HannahZiesmann.com) which is comprised of little morsels of writing about artworks, museums, art world issues she finds alluring, engaging, or delightful.
