CO+HOOTS, central Phoenix’s first and largest coworking community, is celebrating several milestones with a “Forever in CO+HOOTS” bash at its new location in midtown Phoenix on Sept. 30. The event is expected to host more than 500 attendees, including top leaders in Arizona’s startup community as well as Phoenix Councilman Daniel Valenzuela and Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton. VIP tickets and free general admission tickets are available.
The event will commemorate CO+HOOTS’ sixth year in business, which has seen the company establish itself as a leader in Arizona’s business community and a leader in the coworking industry globally; and its expansion to a 14,000 square-foot building that owners Jenny Poon and Odeen Domingo purchased. The event will also serve as a history museum of sorts, showcasing how far CO+HOOTS has come since the company’s founding in 2010 as well as how far the city of Phoenix has come.
“This isn’t just a celebration for CO+HOOTS; this is a celebration for Phoenix,” Poon said. “What we do best is build community and with this event, we want to bring as many people in the Phoenix community together to look back at what we all have accomplished while celebrating the exciting fact that this is just the beginning. We are all creating something special here.”
The family-friendly event will feature lawn games as well as local bands, food trucks, craft breweries and wineries and is sponsored by The City of Phoenix and Scottsdale-based company Nextiva.
