The annual PHX Vegan Food Festival promises to be an even larger event than in previous years. With almost 100 vegan and vegetarian-friendly vendors, restaurants and food trucks, the outdoor event has much to offer. Organized by Davisson Entertainment, the third-annual festival will be held on Sat. Feb. 24, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Margaret T. Hance Park.

“The PHX Vegan Food Festival continues to be embraced by the community with overwhelming excitement. Last year’s festival was received even better than the first, so we knew we needed to expand to a larger venue,” said the Founder of Davisson Entertainment, Daniel Davisson, in an announcement about the event. “The extra space will allow attendees more elbow room, and it enables us to present an even greater number of amazing vegan and vegan-friendly vendors.”

Some of the food vendors at this years festival include:

  • Cafe Lalibela: a family-run restaurant serving Ethiopian dishes.
  • Even Stevens: a nationwide sandwich shop providing meals with each sandwich sold.
  • Mi Vegana Madre: a food truck serving traditional Mexican food with vegan alternatives.
  • Simons Hot Dogs: a restaurant serving Colombian style, vegan hot dogs.
  • Pomegranate Cafe: a cafe that serves dishes and drinks made-from-scratch.
  • Local Lunchbox: a locally sourced food truck with different menus each season.

There will be many more of Arizona’s favorite vegan and vegan-friendly food stops to explore, along with businesses selling personal care items, clothing and more.

There will be demonstrations from experts and live entertainment on several stages. Additional features include a kids’ zone through Free Arts of Arizona and more beverage stations.

General admission to the event offers access to the vendors and other features. This also includes one alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink token.

The is also a VIP option available with early admittance into the festival, access to the festival’s features, an extra drink token, an exclusive entrance and reserved seating for the demos. The VIP admission also comes with a swag bag.
