Get ready for the fourth annual Urban Ale Trail happening Saturday, Sept. 23 from 1-6 p.m. This walkable beer tasting tour is hosted by Downtown Phoenix Inc., and they invite you to explore downtown Phoenix and enjoy the best brews they have to offer.
Participation is free and the tour is self-guided with each destination being a walk or light-rail ride away, so participants can safely navigate to all the tastings. There are 32 participating locations offering three 4-ounce samples of beer for $1 or $2 each that will be paired with a bar snack, while supplies last.
Participants can start wherever or whenever they want, but you might want to stop by the District American Kitchen and Wine Bar early, because the first 300 people will receive a free commemorative growler.
Participating bars and restaurants for this year’s ale trail include Cornish Pasty, Rose & Crown Pub, Province Urban Kitchen and Bar, and many more which can be viewed at http://dtphx.org/things-to-do/aletrail/. Print maps will be available at all participating locations.
