Join in the fun at Melrose on 7th Ave. this Thursday, July 20, for its “Melrose Third Thursday.”
The Melrose community hosts this event on the third Thursday of each month, with local businesses offering sales and specials dedicated to the event and specific shops opening for this one day to sell their inventory at steep discounts.
All along 7th Ave., Melrose shops will remain open into the evening. Among the businesses participating are Rebel Salon & Vintage, Twigs and Twine, and Frockify.
The family-friendly event will also feature food trucks, parking lot vendors, music and entertainment, and crafts for kids from 5 to 8 p.m.
Sound Bite, a collaboration between KJZZ and Short Leash Hot Dogs, will be on site as well, providing both hot dogs and music for attendees.
Zinnias At Melrose will be staying open an extra two hours and hosting a 20% off sale all day. The sale is one day only, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Zinnias will provide free cookies and drinks.
You can preview pictures of featured vendors and highlighted items each day leading up to this event on Zinnia’s Facebook and Instagram pages. The shop also offers delivery for any larger items that can’t fit in your car, or for those items you just don’t want to lift.
A group of businesses at 700 W. Campbell Ave., which includes Kharma Life Center and Modern on Melrose, is merging its “Moonlight on Melrose” event with Third Thursday, also staying open until 8 p.m.
Third Thursday provides a great opportunity to bring the community together, so don’t miss this chance to celebrate all things local.
