Explore Japanese culture, art, food, exhibits and more at the 33rd annual Arizona Matsuri Festival at Heritage and Science Park Feb. 25 and 26.
This two-day event brings the sights, sounds and tastes of Japan to downtown Phoenix. Indulge in Japanese art, cuisine and goods from over 60 vendors and if you start to feel tired after walking through the festival, take a seat and relax at the beer and sake garden.
There will be four performance stages featuring music, martial arts, story telling and dance, as well as Kendama demonstrations (a traditional ball and cup game.) The festival kickoff on Saturday and Sunday will feature a traditional Awaodori dance which parades through the festival grounds.
