Join Aileen Frick for the closing reception of her solo show at the MonOrchid from 6-9 p.m. Frick’s contemporary collages are truly amazing things to behold. Using a combination of oil paints, magazine clippings and her natural technique as an artist, Frick brings to life breathtaking images that are not only beautiful, but challenging. Non-functional Slack-fill
Bentley Gallery will host the opening reception for the new body of work from renowned artist Jeremy Thomas. Nasty Women: Phoenix Unite
Grand ArtHaus has expanded the dates of its group show to include Third Friday. The show itself is an art benefit to support Planned Parenthood. Not only will there be a wide variety of local artists, there will also be live screen printing, dance performances and more. Looking Back
The brand new Found:RE Hotel, located at Central and Portland, invites art goers to view works on display from several female artists from around the valley. The exhibit will include works from Aileen Frick, Lucretia Torva and more. Swing through from 6-9 p.m. for an opportunity to meet and talk with the artists. More info here.

Pancakes and Booze
This is a great place to end your evening as The Duce combines pancakes, booze and lots of local art. Showcasing more than 75 emerging artists, this event will expose a variety of newcomers to the flourishing Phoenix art scene. The event will feature a live DJ, free pancake bar, body painting and much more. Doors open from 8 p.m.-2 a.m. and is located at 525 S. Central Ave. More info here.
