There’s a reason we travel. We want to see and experience new things. We want to take in a new environment; to drive on different roads, eat uniquely delicious food, and venture into unfamiliar territory.
But what if the journey we are really after is actually waiting for us right next door? What if, on occasion, we could truly visit the places we live; to imagine we are from out-of-town and see things from a different point-of-view? Sometimes it is that exotic perspective, the one that is the perfect amount of unfamiliar, that gives us just the adventure we always wanted.
