5TH ANNUAL ROOSEVELT ROW CHILE PEPPER FEST FIRES UP THE FALL FESTIVAL SEASON
Featuring 20+ local restaurants, beer and margarita garden, music, arts and more
Ignite the fall on Saturday, October 1 at the 5th annual Chile Pepper Festival in Roosevelt Row — with local food, beer and margaritas, live music, dance performances, kids’ activities and more.
The Chile Pepper Festival is a free, all-ages, food and music festival held in the Roosevelt Row Arts District of downtown Phoenix benefitting the Roosevelt Growhouse Community Garden and Roosevelt Row Community Development Corporation (CDC). This year’s event will present more than 20 of the best local restauranteurs and chefs in Phoenix creating the most mouth-watering chile pepper cuisine our city has to offer.
And if that’s not hot enough, the event also features locally grown chile pepper roasting onsite, cooking and cocktail making demos, live music and performances, mariachis, activities for kids with the Heard Museum and Phoenix Center for the Arts, salsa dancing lessons, and special performances by Flamenco Por La Vida. We’ve added some extra spice with a talent show and games hosted by Lawn Gnome Publishing and a Deschutes Brewery Beer Garden and Cazadores Gourmet Margarita Station are also all on the menu!
Local restaurant teams will compete in the Chile Pepper Challenge, a showdown for the title of the most delicious chile pepper cuisine, including a “Sweet & Spicy” category for chile pepper desserts! Announcements of the Chile Pepper Challenge winner and crowning of this year’s Chile Pepper Champion will culminate the festivities.
Tasting and drink tickets as well as pre-sale discounts can be purchased in advance online. Plus, to reserve FREE admission, RSVP on the website ahead of time!
