The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks and @LosDbacks) will host Hispanic Heritage Day, presented by Bud Light and supported by Cox Communications, Arizona Lottery and Subway, this Saturday at Chase Field. Hispanic Heritage Day will feature a pregame APS Street Festival. In addition, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Los D-backs Soccer Jersey, courtesy of Pepsi.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the APS Street Festival that features APS booth with energy-saving information, player appearances, and fun giveaways, live music by La Máxima Sonora, Folklorico dancers, Mariachi performers, interactive games, inflatables, food trucks and the Bud Light Beer Garden Experience. Located at Fourth St. and Jackson St., the APS Street Festival will begin at 3:00 p.m. and is free for fans of all ages. D-backs players are scheduled to stop by the street festival to take selfies with fans in the APS booth.

This Saturday is also Roberto Clemente Day and the D-backs and Chevy will recognize the team’s nominee, Paul Goldschmidt, for his charitable contributions throughout the season during a special pregame ceremony. In addition, MLB established SEAT 21 – a seat in each ballpark on Roberto Clemente Day dedicated to a well-known hero originally from the community who will also be recognized. Terri Cruz, an 88-year-old community activist and social worker from Chicanos Por La Causa, will be honored as the 2016 Roberto Clemente SEAT 21 Honoree for the D-backs.

The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Hensley Beverage Company will present a $5,000 check to Chicanos Por La Causa during a pregame ceremony on the field. In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Day, D-backs players and coaches will wear Los D-backs jerseys for the ninth consecutive season which will be available for purchase at D-backs Authentics at section 131 along the main concourse beginning Sept. 11. Net proceeds from the sale of all game-used items will benefit the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation.
