The event also includes architectural tours, creatively repurposed cars, artistic performances and more. The festival is presented by Grand Avenue Arts & Preservation (GAP) and Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts (PAPA).

The community is not only invited to attend the Grand Avenue Festival, but also to participate in it. Here are ways the public can contribute to the festivities:

The 11th Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts (PAPA)

The Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts is a family-friendly procession of non-motorized floats and creatively costumed revelers. The theme of this year’s parade is “We Can Be Heroes (Just for One Day).” The parade takes place along Grand Avenue during the Festival, beginning at 6 p.m. Pre-registration is not required, but if you want to compete in the prize categories, you must check in by 5 p.m. in front of Unexpected Gallery.
