Downtown Phoenix never fails to surprise and delight. DPJ’s Live PHX series captures the moments that illustrate why we love life in our city.

The Coronado Phoenix

There’s a whole lot of meat-free magic happening inside this cozy historic home. Photo by Lauren Potter.

You don’t have to be a vegetarian (or vegan) to love The Coronado. They make fresh pastries in-house daily, they’ve got a full bar with local beer, wine and soda, and they also brew locally-roasted Xanadu Coffee. And even though they’re a cozy little spot, you can enjoy their full menu all day (try the jalapeño waffle).

Next time you’re driving along the busy Seventh Street thoroughfare, take a turn at Monte Vista and step inside The Coronado’s charming and hip historic space. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the people, The Coronado’s one of those local places that’s got a certain spark… And with their dog-friendly patio, we might even say The Coronado’s got a little bark 😉
