Just under a year ago, downtown Phoenix played host to the pre-game party to end all pre-game parties when the Super Bowl rolled into Arizona. Now in 2016, we’re proving once again that downtown is the place to party in the lead up to the College Football Championship Game to be played at University of Phoenix Stadium on Monday, January 11.

The fan festivities for the game will be based at the Championship Campus in downtown Phoenix, which extends from Monroe to Jefferson and 1st Street to 5th Street. The weekend long party will offer everything from exhibitions to concerts to  dining events and more. Here’s a run down of all the fun you’ll find here this weekend.

Playoff Fan Central

This college football fan festival is located in the Phoenix Convention Center (North Building) and will feature pep rallies, interactive exhibits, guest appearances and more.

AT&T Playoff Playlist Live!

No party is complete without a killer playlist and even better, this one is going to be live. Each night will feature free concerts from artists like John Mellencamp, Ciara, The Band Perry, and Walk the Moon – just to name a few.

Extra Yard 5K

Get some exercise and help raise money for charity with the Extra Yard 5K run, which  through downtown Phoenix on Sunday, January 10th at 9 a.m.

Notable chefs from across the country will convene to offer samples of their best food and beverage creations. This foodie-centric charity event takes place on Sunday, January 10 at 5 p.m. the Phoenix Convention Center.
