This Saturday, downtown Phoenix will come alive with a celebration of local business and fall eats at Local First Arizona’s 11th Annual Certified Local Fall Festival.
A seasonal favorite of downtown Phoenix, this festival will celebrate local businesses and communities and give Phoenicians a chance to get familiar with some of the most exciting local businesses, restaurants, and brew houses the city has to offer.
Local favorites including Mother Bunch Brewing, Four Peaks Brewery, and Arizona Stronghold Vineyards will be featured among more than 100 vendors throughout the festival. And that local beverage will pair nicely will live entertainment, raffles and prize giveaways, crafts for kids and a musical instrument petting zoo provided by Bookmans Entertainment Exchange.
“This festival highlights everything that Arizona has to offer, from one-of-a-kind local shops, boutiques, and restaurants to Arizona-made wine, beer, and spirits,” said Kimber Lanning, Director of Local First Arizona, which is hosting the event.
New studies have shown that when Arizonans support local and independently owned businesses, up to four times more money stays and circulates in the local economy to support local job creation, according to Lanning.
Entrance to the festival is free, and food and drink tickets are only $1 each. The first 500 attendees to arrive will receive a handmade gift bag.
An online auction featuring items from Local First Arizona member businesses is available here and runs through Saturday.
