Valley Metro Super Bowl Commemorative Transit Pass Is Now on Sale
Get your game plan ready! Anyone can make a game-winning move by purchasing a commemorative Super Bowl XLIX 7-Day transit pass. The pass offers you a piece of local history and the opportunity for more streamlined boarding on bus or light rail.
Valley Metro is offering a special pass package, which includes a 7-Day commemorative transit pass, souvenir lanyard and a convenient transit pocket guide with maps and list of destinations. For $25*, residents and visitors to the area can buy this limited edition package.
“Transit is making big moves to support Super Bowl and related festivities in downtown Phoenix and Glendale,” said Hillary Foose, Director, Valley Metro Communication and Marketing. “Valley Metro and the city of Phoenix desire a positive experience for new and existing riders, including the opportunity to be part of the excitement with a commemorative transit pass.”
Valley Metro will provide enhanced rail and local, Express and RAPID bus service to give riders a variety of options to reach all the excitement. Schedule and map information will be available in January 2015.
The limited edition passes are available online now while supplies last. Visit valleymetro.org/superbowl to purchase a pass and learn about transit service supporting Super Bowl Central and game days.

*A Reduced fare pass is available to those who are eligible for $15. Eligibility includes persons with disabilities, seniors 65 and older or youth age 6-18.
