The fall arts season continues to unfold with fantastic shows to discover this First Friday in November. Here’s another premium short list to get you started. Also, tonight Artlink will pilot a new First Friday Trolley Tour, by rolling out a new trolley route and two new park and ride trolley hubs.
In addition to the current hub at the Phoenix Art Museum, there will be a new hub at 15th and Grand Aves (in the Grand Avenue Arts District), and another at Arizona Center.
Park at any one of these locations and catch the FREE Artlink First Friday trolley that makes it easy to go from one arts area to another.
Trolleys will run in a complete circuit, stopping at each of the hubs in approximately 15-minute intervals. Maps will be available on the trolleys, which make a regular loop on the circuit from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. THE LAST CIRCUIT IS AT 9:30 PM, so make sure you’re heading back to your car or light rail stop by that time. Get the full details on the new route and hubs on the Artlink website.
The next best thing to the trolley ride is the METRO Light Rail line that connects you with Practical Art at Central Ave. and Camelback Rd, Phoenix Art Museum, the Roosevelt/Central stop, and the arts experiences available in the downtown core. THERE IS A FEE to ride Light Rail.
