Hula’s Modern Tiki’s rapid success inspired Mule to round out the dining experience by providing something sweet, which takes the form of his new venture Twirl Frozen Yogurt, across the parking lot from Hula’s.

Twirl Frozen Yogurt is now open and carrying an assortment of regular, no sugar added (NSA), low-fat (LF), gluten-free (GF) and non-dairy (ND) flavors and toppings.

The look and feel of Twirl is unlike any other FroYo shop in town. When you walk in you immediately are comforted by the cozy and warm atmosphere. You can take a load off and sit on the plush sofa or ottoman or bring friends and sit around the wooden picnic table while enjoying your favorite dessert, FroYo!

The inside vibe feels more like a Santa Cruz beach hangout than a desert baked stucco rank and file, sterile dig. It evokes a surfer “sweet” vernacular as much as the treats it offers. The decor is a fresh mix of retro and urban and, being right off the light rail, it is perfect for grab-and-go.
