The second annual Herberger Theater Festival of the Arts, presented by SRP, is Saturday, October 1, 2011, 1-5pm. The family-friendly event will celebrate the arts in Downtown Phoenix and feature performances by 20 Valley arts groups, live music, food, visual art, film shorts, children’s activities, vendor booths and a wine tasting.
Participants include: Center Dance Ensemble, Phoenix Boys Choir, Scorpius Dance Theatre, Six Gun Entertainment, Theater Works, EPIK Dance Company and many more. Bands performing on the outdoor stage include Bad Cactus Brass Band, Chicks With Picks and Take Cover!
Admission is free for kids age 12 and under and $5.00 for adults and age 13 and up. Free parking for attendees at the Arizona Center’s parking garage provided by Arizona Center.
Proceeds benefit the Herberger Theater Center’s Youth Arts Education and Outreach Initiatives: Free Arts Multicultural Theater Camp, Wolf Trap and Arizona Young Artists’ Competition.
