The 82nd Major League baseball All-Star Game is coming to Chase Field this summer and the community is buzzing. Tuesday afternoon, April 26th, Mayor Phil Gordon joined baseball executives and members of the press to announce the official launch of the 2011 All-Star Game balloting.
The city looks to benefit substantially from both financial and philanthropic activities. In one exciting development, APS has worked with Chase Field to construct shade over the west entrances that will collect solar power and send it straight to a power grid for use outside the ballpark.
