While everyone is getting ready for the initial First Friday of the year, there’s a show to keep in mind for your night out next weekend.
Denver-based house band Pictureplane is coming to Brick to play a 21-and-older show next Saturday, January 15 at 9 p.m. Yes, a house show at a restaurant… not something you see every day.
Pictureplane’s Travis Egedy, along with Jared Alan, Sean Watson, Prince$$ and Don Ricardo will provide the tunes all night while you just have to worry about the $5 cover.
Egedy made a name for himself in the frosty town of Denver a couple years ago in a local warehouse. After his 2009 release, Dark Rift, electronic music was slowly climbing back on the market and Pitchfork helped Egedy get on the mainstream wave.
Local DJs Jared Alan and Sean Watson will help open up the late-night party.
If you want a night full of good music, dancing and a few new friends, then Saturday night at the Brick is what you need. Please, skip the neon and pacifiers.
Brick is located at 455 N. 3rd St. in the Arizona Center (light rail at 3rd St. and Washington/Jefferson).
