The Phoenix Symphony

The Phoenix Symphony

Groove to the jazzy sounds of the swing era as the greatest hits of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and Duke Ellington are performed by our really BIG big band. “Bandleader” Lawrence Golan leads this evening of standards that promises to be a swingin’ night on the town!

The Phoenix Symphony, in partnership with the League of American Orchestras, is participating in Orchestras Feeding America during The BIG Big Band Pops concert weekend, March 6 – 8. Patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the Symphony Hall lobby before or after each concert. If you can’t attend the concerts, you may still contribute by bringing food items during concert times throughout the weekend.  For every 10 items donated, patrons can receive one complimentary ticket voucher for an upcoming Phoenix Symphony Classics Concert.

The BIG Big Band show is this Friday, March 6th, at 8PM.  Plenty of time to check out Art Detour, then catch some good music for a great cause.

In a time of economic uncertainty and discouraging news, it is important for communities to join together and help those in need. Help us make Orchestras Feeding America a success!
