Jim McPherson has made several Arizona google maps and recently finished his newest project, the map of Central Phoenix Vitality Initiatives. The map revolves around downtown and central Phoenix revitalization, showing recent invidual projects, and numerous restoration and adaptive reuse projects.

A free Historic Homeowners’ Expo will be offered from 9am to 1pm Saturday, June 20, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, 122 N. 2nd St. as part of the statewide Historic Preservation Partnership Conference in Phoenix from June 18 to 20.
The expo will offer educational workshops of interest to owners of designated historic homes such as improving energy efficiency, researching a historic home, grants and tax incentives, and how to hire a contractor.
Movie Mondays continues at the Heard Museum on Monday, June 15 at 1:30pm with a 58-minute film, Teachings of the Tree People: The Work of Bruce Miller.
The 2006 film tells of the life of nationally acclaimed artist and Skokomish tribal leader Gerald Bruce Miller, who interpreted the sacred teachings of the natural world to anyone who wanted to learn.
