Join Local First Arizona this Saturday, November 5 for their 12th annual Certified Local Fall Festival. This Phoenix fall tradition will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Margaret T. Hance Park, which is a new location for this event.
The Fall Festival is a celebration of all things local in Arizona, from its unique shops and restaurants to its locally-produced wine, beer, and spirits. This family-friendly festival features over 150 vendors including favorite Arizona restaurants and food trucks offering delicious samples, local shops with items for sale, and services and organizations distributing information.
Along with the wide variety of vendors, there’s even more fall fun with a Beverage Garden, live entertainment, arts and crafts for the family, and a raffle and online silent auction full of prizes from Arizona’s local businesses.
The Certified Local Fall Festival started as a small event held in the parking lot of Duck and Decanter at 16th Street and Camelback, but as its popularity has grown, the festival has moved to Portland Parkway and now Hance Park. Local First Arizona wanted to keep the celebration near downtown, where local businesses are thriving.
According to Kimber Lanning, Founder and Director of Local First Arizona, “Hance Park is a perfect new home for the Certified Local Fall Festival for its proximity to public transportation including the Light Rail, and is at the center of many community and business development initiatives.”
Celebrate with the community, learn about Arizona’s fabulous local businesses and get into the spirit of the fall season at the Certified Local Fall Festival!
