After a wonderful week prior, the Arizona Diamondbacks reverted to their struggling ways this past week, losing five of their last six games. The D-backs won one of three in Washington only to return home and get swept by the Cincinnati Reds. The upcoming schedule shows no signs of letting up, as the team is due to face the Colorado Rockies beginning Friday through the weekend, followed by a trip to San Diego to face the Padres.
Special events this weekend include fireworks on Friday night, a special replica of the D-backs’ new spring training facility to the first 15,000 fans to Saturday’s game and a back-to-school backpack to the first 5,000 kids 12 and younger on Sunday.
