Baseball is important. At least to me. And definitely to Downtown Phoenix.
Monday marks the start of the 11th season of the Arizona Diamondbacks, and the first full season that the light rail will be running.
Why is that important? Chase Field holds nearly 45,000 people, and there are 80 home games during the regular season. Do the math. With more options for people to explore the core of Phoenix both before and after games, and a light rail to connect our downtown with other parts of the city, baseball fans have even more reason to linger around.
Where are your favorite spots to hang out before or after a ballgame? Share a link, a suggestion or a story – see you at the game!
Cheers,
Sam
