The nearly 3 acre Civic Space on Central Ave in Downtown Phoenix is scheduled to open in March. The park, which does not have a name yet, will be a very interesting space which will use water, lights, shade and art to create an oasis for nearby ASU Downtown students, office workers, residents and tourists.
I think this will prove to be a great gathering and recreational space right in the heart of our Downtown. The park will be located between Central and First Ave and sandwiched across the street from the ASU Downtown University Center building on one side and the Downtown YMCA on the other.
