If you don’t have any Saturday plans or feel like indulging in a shopping spree while supporting a good cause, consider checking out the bi-annual Pineapple Triangle market June 10.

It provides a more intimate experience where attendees can interact with AZ-exclusive vendors in a more personal setting. Take your time perusing the market and enjoy conversations with other attendees while taking part in this rewarding event.

Pineapple Triangle, a business created by Maggie McGrath in 2014, aims to raise money for local non-profits through its hosting of markets, featuring local vendors. Not only is 20% of admission ticket sales donated to a non-profit of Pineapple Triangle’s choice, but vendors at the market take this one step further by donating at least 20% of their product sales to the good cause as well.

This time around, the market will be benefitting Arizona Helping Hands, which supports foster families who provide safe, loving environments for children in the Department of Child Safety system.

“Pineapple Triangle has always had one goal: loving people,” said Desiree’ Byrne, a partner of the Pineapple Triangle company. “We support local artisans by hosting Arizona exclusive goods.  We build community by connecting makers and musicians with the masses.  And we provide a platform for charities to bring awareness of their cause & raise money through a percentage of every sale onsite. It’s all about the people!”

The market will feature 50+ local artisans and vendors, including the Love You a Latte Shop, Keep it Wild Co. and Citizen Home Decor. Shop handmade and one-of-a-kind pieces, boutique finds and vintage goods, as well as AZ-inspired crafts.

This summer’s Pineapple Triangle market takes place at The Duce, “where pretty meets gritty and where produce meets prohibition.” This means you’ll not only be able to shop ’til you drop, but you can also enjoy comfort food served out of a vintage trailer and sip on delicious milkshakes (spiked if you’re 21 & over) to beat the heat.

Besides The Duce’s offerings, the market will feature food truck items from Mr. Martz Central Coast BBQ and Hula Hawaiian Shave Ice. Enjoy live music from St. Nick & The Sounds while experiencing all this event has to offer.
