The Valley has been heating up the last week with a record breaking heat wave, but don’t be scared because this Third Friday is showing signs of cooling off. Celebrate Treeo Galleries 1 Year Anniversary as they welcome back local artist, Fred Tieken, with an all new body of work that is sure to ensnare and leave you wondering, “Where does this man get his energy!” Doors open at 6 p.m., located at 906 N. 6th St.
Whisperers
Join local artist, Constance McBride, for her opening reception as she peels back the layers of life to expose the tiny voice at her core while she examines the aftermath of dealing with major loss and what it takes to move forward. Located at The Eye Lounge at 419 E. Roosevelt from 6-10 p.m.
No Rhyme or Reason
Capturing the essence of nature itself, artist Henry Bellavia does not paint landscapes or nature from a specific reference, but instead attempts to convey the his fascination, “… of the vast beauty of nature.” Open the door to his minds eye from 6-10 p.m. at Five15 Arts, located at 515 E. Roosevelt.
In’Cept
Witness history in the making as ASU Master Degree Candidates and their professors exhibit a collection of work prepared under the newly formed artist collective, “TOO HOT”. Reception will open from 6-10 p.m, located at 9 the Gallery, 1229 Grand Ave.
Cheryle Marine at Chartreuse
International artist Cheryle Marine explores the human experience; the relationships between each other and our environment by reducing familiar materials to basic memories. Located at 1301 Grand Avenue, from 6-9 p.m.
