With more than 100 parking spaces, they could conceivably act as both restaurant and a pay-to-park lot. It's the saddest mixed use, but I guess you could technically call it mixed use.

How is this a mixed-use project, like the very first sentence claims? Maybe DPJ should give these third-party press releases some minor edits for accuracy. It would also be good if many people educated themselves properly on some of the terms they use. *looks at Fox Restaurants*

The event was awesome and glad to see so many like-minded, bike and beer oriented folks in one spot. The venue was perfect, and thanks to Kitchen Sink for hosting. Just seeing the transformation of their work space should be enough for would-be clients to sign up. Love the custom bike racks at the event. It's a pet peeve of mine that most businesses, especially restaurants and bars, don't provide bike racks, or ill conceived substitute ones, for their non-car patrons. These racks blend artistic sculpture with utility. Aaron, from Voigt Metal (voigtmetal.com), created the fish and art deco bike rack in one of the photos. Hope to see the biking spirit continue past Bike Month.

Rob, I heart the Crescent Ballroom on every level from the food, the urban value it brings to Phoenix, the vibrancy it creates, the architecture, the furniture, everything!!! It's an awesome place! Cheers to the fourth for the shout outs in your article. :-)

I'm excited about what will be done in the space and what the concept will be. I live in the neighborhood and it's been awesome having these fantastic restaurants open within a few minutes walking distance from my house. From Windsor south to Practical Art and the shops in Medlock Plaza, there's a wonderful strip of lightrail accessible, independently owned places that gives this historic neighborhood a younger, hip character and a quiet but busy nightlife. When the market recovers a bit more, I look forward to seeing it reflected in the local home values, as well.
