Open Air Market at Phoenix Public Market Celebrates National Farmers Market Week on August 13

PPM_signFound each Saturday in the heart of downtown Phoenix, the Open Air Market at Phoenix Public Market boasts dozens of agriculture, artisan, prepared food, and household and skin care products vendors plus food trucks. Farmers include hydroponic tomatoes from Abby Lee Farms, honey products from Absolutely Delightful, eggs from Chile Acres, grass-fed beef from Circle Key Farms and produce from Crooked Sky and Maya’s Farms. Food Trucks vary week to week but include Jamburrito, Naturally Sweet and PAZ. Artisans span the gamut.

The August calendar will celebrate National Farmers Market Week on August 13 (actual week is from August 7-13) where there will be a Cooking Demo with Maya of Maya’s Farms, Harvesting Prickly Pear Workshop with Peggy Sorensen, scavenger hunt and raffle prizes.
