Every day in downtown Phoenix feels a little more special when you serendipitously stumble upon murals like this. Just when you think you’ve seen all the painted red brick walls, you walk around a corner and yet another beautiful artwork takes your breath away. Painted on the south wall of Valley Youth Theater in 2013, “Water Writes” is one in a series of 12 murals located in different parts of the world. The project explores issues surrounding the world’s most valuable resource — water.
