Market Updates

There are still three sets of Jack Johnson tickets left. Buying a $500 CSM card at the market nets you a pair of tickets to Johnson’s October 10 concert at Cricket Wireless Pavilion. Head to the Urban Grocery & Wine Bar now, or purchase online! Community Food Connections, the nonprofit that operates the Phoenix Public Market, will participate in Johnson’s “Village Green” community expo, also on October 10. The market is included in Johnson’s fundraising efforts at allatonce.org, and donations made to the market (up to $2,500) between now and October 15 will be matched.

Weekly special: Buy any three bottles of Pillsbury Wine, get the fourth for 1 cent!

T-Day special: Poppa Maize’s assorted popcorn is just $1 per package on Thursday (regularly $3). Popped fresh in Uptown Phoenix!

Wednesday @ the Market

It’s a full moon and the fall equinox, so what better time to come taste the rich flavors of Pillsbury Wine? They’ll be pouring in the Urban Grocery & Wine Bar from 5 to 7 p.m. Dirty Bird soaps will provide enough for you to stay fresh in the heat, and Crow’s Dairy has some seriously rich cheese that isn’t to be missed. Also check out Nakia’s Kitchen, the Bread Basket and Wei of Chocolate for a variety of locally made treats. The fall harvest is upon us, so don’t miss the abundance of fresh produce!
